Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and customer-oriented Bartender to join our team. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for preparing and serving beverages to our guests, ensuring their satisfaction and enjoyment. Your friendly and professional demeanor, along with your knowledge of mixology and drink recipes, will contribute to creating a positive and memorable experience for our customers.
Duties:
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers
- Interact with customers in a friendly and courteous manner, taking orders and providing recommendations when needed
- Mix ingredients to create cocktails and other specialty drinks according to established recipes
- Check identification of customers to verify legal drinking age and refuse service to intoxicated or underage individuals
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including organizing supplies, cleaning glasses, utensils, and bar equipment
- Monitor inventory levels of beverages, restocking as needed
- Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe working environment
Requirements:
- Previous experience working in a hospitality or restaurant setting preferred
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
- Strong bartending skills, including knowledge of drink recipes, mixing techniques, and garnishments
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and calculating tips
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Strong time management skills to ensure efficient service
-Cocktail experience will be an added advantage
