* Hours - 9am - 4pm, Monday to Friday with spilt/alternative weekends

My client is seeking a talented and passionate Head Chef to join their Deli Kitchen & Caf?? team in Ferndown. This is an excellent opportunity for a culinary professional looking to lead a kitchen, showcasing their skills and creativity in preparing high-quality dishes. They are a social enterprise and charity providing support and opportunities to adults with varying support needs.
Day-to-day of the role:
* Oversee the preparation, cooking, and presentation of meals in the kitchen.
* Manage kitchen staff and delegate tasks related to meal prep, cooking, and delivering food in a timely fashion.
* Maintain order and discipline in the kitchen during working hours.
* Create menu items, recipes, and develop dishes ensuring variety and quality.
* Manage kitchen inventory and ensure supplies are fresh and of high quality.
* Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations within the kitchen area.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Proven experience as a Head Chef or Sous Chef with strong leadership skills.
* Excellent knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
* Familiarity with industry's best practices.
* Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Calm & well organised individual.
