Our preferred candidate will have at least 8 years' plus post qualification experience. The resources of an international firm allow all of our lawyers to produce their best work and use their imagination as well as legal skills to provide a great service to our clients. The ideal applicant will be able to advise major international businesses on product safety compliance, consumer protection legislation, the management of regulatory notifications, product withdrawals, product recalls and other corrective measures and provide strategic advice regarding threatened or actual investigations, civil claims and lead the defence of any resulting claims or class actions. We want an experienced adviser who is adaptable and committed to offering innovative solutions to the issues our clients face. Ideally applicants will have experience at a national/international law firm. As part of this role you can expect to be:. Involved in high profile, cross border work for global organisations as part of an international product liability network Working directly with the Head of the pan-European product liability practice ( https://tinyurl.com/mtznaxxf ) Advising major corporations in manufacturing, automotive, pharmaceuticals and medical devices, technology, chemical, tobacco, industrial engineering, food and drink, safety equipment, toys, electrical and electronic products, toys and other consumer products Given considerable autonomy, with senior and administrative support, for business development with excellent prospects of career progression including future leadership of this business area. Skills and experience In order to be successful, the applicant must be able to meet client needs, both from a commercial and technical perspective and build exceptional relationships with internal and external contacts. The successful applicant will have considerable expertise in advising major global businesses on their responses to product incidents and associated product liability actions, insurance claims, supply chain disputes, the implementation of product recalls and crisis management generally.
