Team Building Activities throughout the year Qualified applicants must meet the following requirements: The minimum formal education required to be considered for this position is: Associate degree in Agriculture, Horticulture or related field Specialized or technical knowledge, credentials or licensing required for the position include: Knowledge of turf/plant healthcare Preferred Skills Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Horticulture or related field. 3-5 years of Lawn Care/Plant Care experience 1 year of Supervisory experience Responsibilities: Provide excellent customer service to clients with proper scheduling, communication, and follow through Manage one’s time efficiently while involved with other division projects Assist the commercial division manager with large projects (i.e. aeration/seeding/phragmites, etc) Manage the implementation of all landscaping programs Perform the necessary landscaping functions required for each individual project Work closely with other divisions in developing operational procedures and objectives. Responsible for properly mixing and applying chemicals while maintaining accurate chemical records and licensing Treat specific insect, weed, turf disease and nutritional deficiencies by application of the appropriate product Maintain power spray equipment within safe, clean and mechanical condition Maintain accurate records of chemical usage per all federal, state and local laws, rules and regulations Use good judgement in the application of chemicals (weather conditions, public exposure and environmental considerations) Abide by all safety procedures. Perform other tasks as assigned by the supervisor Additional Information: The environmental factors and physical requirement of this position include the following Able to move freely throughout the Arbor Care facilities to include but not limited to: carrying tools and equipment (0-50 pounds), exposure to extreme temperatures (0-100 Degrees Fahrenheit), humidity and chemicals (MSDS sheets available).
