You will be joining a rapidly growing, dynamic company, with an excellent team-based culture and fantastic opportunities to progress your career.\n\nIf you have a background in a similar role within civil/electrical engineering, construction, M & E or similar, please apply now for an immediate response.\n\nThe Job You’ll Do;\n\n * Estimating: Create detailed cost breakdowns for materials, labour, and ancillary expenses.\n\n * Bid Preparation: Analyse project documentation (specifications, drawings, and scope) to develop accurate and commercially sound proposals.\n\n * Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate with sales, engineering, and operations teams to ensure smooth project transitions and alignment of commercial objectives.\n\n * Scope Evaluation: Interpret customer requirements and ensure estimates reflect the full technical and operational scope of work.\n\n * Budget Oversight: Monitor and manage tender-phase budgets, ensuring alignment with internal financial parameters.\n\n * Documentation: Maintain organised records of estimates, bids, and key communications. Provide reports to senior stakeholders on pricing trends and estimating accuracy.\n\n * Team Support: Mentor and review work produced by junior estimators, offering training and technical guidance to support their development.\n\n * Industry Awareness: Stay informed about market pricing trends, new technologies, and competitor activity to maintain competitive edge.\n\n * Risk Management: Identify commercial and technical risks in tender opportunities and propose mitigation strategies.\n\nAbout You;\n\n * HNC/HND or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering or a similar technical field\n\n * At least 3 years of experience in an estimating role, preferably within the electrical or building services industry\n\n * Strong technical understanding of low voltage switchgear, electrical systems, and installation standards\n\n * High attention to detail with strong numerical and analytical skills\n\n * Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (especially Excel), with the ability to interpret technical documents and engineering drawings\n\n * Effective communication, negotiation, and time management abilities\n\n * Demonstrated leadership qualities with experience guiding junior staff
