Annex 21 - As a trainee your pay is determined as a percentage of pay for qualified staff, in accordance with Annex 21 of the Agenda for Change terms and conditions so you will be paid 70% of the salary in year 1. Your salary will be reviewed annually in accordance with the Agenda for Change Terms and Conditions, ensuring fair and structured progression throughout your apprenticeship.\n\nIf successful, you will be appointed on a salary aligned with the Scottish National Living Wage.\n\nUpon successful completion of the apprenticeship programme, you will transition to the appropriate salary scale for the role, reflecting your new qualifications and responsibilities.\n\nKey Details:\n\nLocation: University Hospital Monklands\nDuration: Fixed term post for 2 years starting from the 20th of January 2026 for 30 hours each week.\nMust have National 5 (or equivalent) qualifications.
