You will train on both manual and CNC lathes and milling machines, aswell as learning various fitting techniques. On your return to the company you will spend time in our dedicated apprentice training cell, where you will improve upon the skills already learnt, in preparation for your time on the shop floor for the remainder of your apprenticeship. The training you will be getting You will work towards gaining your Level 3 diploma during your first 2 years, and be eligible to continue onto your HNC in Mechanical Engineering by the end of your 4th year. You will complete the Machining Technician Level 3 Standard Apprenticeship over the 4 year duration. What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship After 4 years, you will be a fully skilled Mechanical Engineer/CNC Machinist.
