Construction Manager
This morning I have been tasked with finding a Construction Manager to lead a large refurbishment on a healthcare project in St Albans.
The project is valued at £17m and consists of a internal refurbishment of internal trade packages and also MEP internally. There is an MEP team based on site. Your task will be to lead the project and sequence a safe area to work in.
Responsibilities for the Construction Manager
Attending and contributing in contractor pre start meetings.
Attending and contributing in design team meetings.
Chairing weekly sub-contractor progress meetings, taking and issuing meeting minutes.
Attending safe starts.
Approving RAMS.
Attending DABS and contributing to the meeting, discussing coordination with other trades. If necessary taking the meeting, issuing the DABS report to all other team members.
Enforcing H&S on site.
Identifying potential problems, but offering buildability solutions.
Someone who is tech savvy.
Someone who can engage with the supply chain and other team members.Requirements for Construction Manager
