Engagement Manager – Data & Analytics / Financial Services

What you’ll be doing
* Building and maintaining trusted C-suite relationships, advising on data and analytics strategy.
* Driving account growth and identifying new opportunities for innovation.
* Overseeing multi-disciplinary teams, ensuring high performance, collaboration, and delivery excellence.
* Managing budgets, risks, and performance while maintaining strong stakeholder communication.
* Shaping business reviews and demonstrating the measurable value of engagements.
* Supporting recruitment and mentoring of consultants, contributing to team growth and capability.
What we’re looking for
* 10+ years’ experience in Financial Services / Banking.
* Must have recent FS experience as well as an excellent pedigree of working for leading Consultancies
* Extensive experience in enterprise data management, BI/DW implementations, and SQL/database solutions.
* The hire will have been a technical hands on Principal Analytics and Data or Senior Data Solution Architect previously for a consultancy or global systems integrator.
* A strong track record of project leadership – delivering complex, high-value programmes.
* Skilled in project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Scrum, Kanban).
* Confident working with senior stakeholders, from boardroom presentations to hands-on delivery.
* But still be the leader that could build a POC or a framework to demonstrate what good looks like to your team!
* Strong commercial acumen – able to spot opportunities, shape proposals, and drive growth.
* Exceptional communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
What will set you apart
* Involvement in pre-sales or account growth.
* The ability to lead teams of 5–25 people across multiple engagements.
* A proven ability to simplify complex ideas and bring clarity to stakeholders.
* Hybrid role, based in Milton Keynes – with flexibility to balance office and remote working.
