The Role
As a Wintel Technical Project Coordinator, you will be managing projects involving Microsoft Windows and Intel-based hardware. You will also ensure the successful deployment and support of these systems and make sure projects are delivered within budget. In this role you will be collaborating with stakeholders to ensure project alignment.
Key responsibilities:
* Responsibility includes planning, executing, and overseeing projects related to Wintel infrastructure, including servers, workstations, and related software.
* Developing and managing project plans, timelines, and budgets.
* Identifying project scope, risks, and dependencies.
* Wintel project manager focuses on managing projects involving Microsoft Windows and Intel-based hardware.
* Ensuring successful deployment and support of these systems.
* Ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
* Collaborating with stakeholders to ensure project alignment.
* Providing technical guidance and support to team members.
* Developing and maintaining documentation.
* Supporting IT Disaster Recovery (DR) plans.
* Working with vendors to design and implement solutions.
* Ensuring compliance with security, privacy, and regulatory requirements.
Your Profile
Essential skills/knowledge/experience:
* Understanding and managing Windows Server environments.
* Experience with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and Windows PKI.
* Familiarity with virtualization technologies like VMware/ESXi and Hyper-V.
* Knowledge of networking concepts and technologies.
* Experience with cloud platforms like Microsoft Azure or AWS
* Diagnosing and resolving technical issues in Windows environments.
* Performing root cause analysis and implementing solutions.
