The Centre for Trials Research at Cardiff University is a large, multinational community of researchers, professional services staff and students from a diverse range of backgrounds.
We tackle the big diseases and health concerns of our time by forming partnerships with researchers and building lasting relationships with the public.
Responsibilities
* Purchases and payments
* Data entry and file management
* Organising and servicing meetings and events
* Engaging with study participants
* Maintaining standard administrative systems and procedures in a highly regulated environment
Qualifications & Skills
* Experience working in an administrative or office setting
* Ability to carry out a variety of administrative tasks
* Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team
* Ability to plan and prioritise, problem‑solving skills and ability to provide excellent customer service

Benefits
Full‑time (35 hours per week), fixed‑term to 31 May 2028, available immediately.
Salary: £25,249 – £26,093 per annum (Grade 3). Appointments normally made at bottom of scale unless in exceptional circumstances.
Benefits include 40 days annual leave (including bank holidays), local pension scheme, cycle‑to‑work scheme and other travel initiatives, annual increments within the pay scale, and more. Living Wage supporter.
Blended working basis available; flexibility to work from home as per line manager agreement.
