We are delighted to be able to recruit a new Chartered Surveyor into the team on a full time, permanent basis working 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

Equally we employ an agile and flexible working strategy allowing staff to work some days at home and flex their working patterns when required.
The Estates Surveyor will be responsible for assisting in the delivery of Estate Management and Valuation services to meet prescribed targets in accordance with all relevant policies, standards and legislation.
We have an exciting opportunity for a Estates Surveyor to join the team ideally on a full time, permanent basis, working 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Offering a competitive salary and rewards package including pension and private healthcare options, the cycle to work scheme, and more.
Main Responsibilities:
* Negotiation and completion of property transactions ie sales, acquisitions, leases, licences, easements, wayleaves; rent reviews; valuations, including Local Authority Asset Valuations; rating appeals; and general estate management work.
* We are ideally looking for an experienced General Practice Surveyor with at least 5 years PQE.
* Professional Chartered membership of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and bachelors degree or equivalent in a Real Estates discipline.
* RICS Registered Valuer.
* Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage and negotiate with all levels of internal and external parties.
* Ability to work independently with minimal support or within a large multi-disciplinary team.
* Full UK Driving Licence to meet the travel requirements of the role
Candidate Requirements:
* Professional membership of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and be working or prepared to work towards chartered status
* Bachelors Degree or equivalent in an Estates related discipline
* Holds a current site card or is prepared to immediately attain
* Experience in a similar or related role
* Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite
* Legal knowledge of landlord and tenant, compulsory purchase and compensation, and knowledge of property valuation techniques
* Familiar with relevant construction, health and safety legislation and the risks and hazards associated with asbestos
