Job Description
The Director of Construction - Luxury Residential will be responsible for:
1. Lead and mentor internal project teams while managing relationships with outside contractors, consultants, and service providers.
2. Recruit, develop, and lead a high-performing construction team, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.
3. Drive the development of project scopes, cost models, procurement processes, and contract negotiations to ensure competitive and transparent bidding.
4. Establish standardized documentation and reporting frameworks for proposals, bids, contracts, site updates, and budget tracking.
5. Build and maintain strong vendor and contractor partnerships to ensure timely, cost-effective project completion.
6. Guarantee adherence to regulatory requirements, building codes, and safety protocols at every stage of construction.

The Successful Applicant
The Director of Construction - Luxury Residential should have:
7. 15+ years of experience in the custom luxury residential sector
8. Extensive experience delivering high end residential projects valued at 10M+
9. Proven track record managing and mentoring teams of five or more professionals
10. Demonstrated success leading projects from initial concept through final completion
11. Deep technical expertise in structural systems, building materials, construction methodologies, and regulatory codes
12. Strong written and verbal communication skills
13. Proficient in modern project management platforms and technology, including Procore, MS Project, and similar tools, to enhance efficiency and streamline workflows
14. Consistent ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining strict adherence to timelines and budgets
15. Exceptional leadership and team building skills, with the ability to effectively engage both field teams and executive stakeholders
16. Able to travel regularly to active job sites as needed
17. Located within a reasonable daily commute to Holden, MA
