Our client is a well-established car dismantler based in Nottingham. We are currently looking for a skilled and reliable Vehicle Mechanic to join their team. Immediate start On-site parking Supportive and experienced team environment Role Overview: As a vital member of the team, you will be responsible for dismantling vehicles safely and efficiently for parts and scrap. This role involves mechanical strip-down of vehicles, use of tools and equipment within the yard. You will ensure all parts are removed without damaged, to allow to be sold in line with company procedures. Key Responsibilities: Dismantling vehicles for parts and scrap Removing engines, gearboxes, panels, and components Manual handling and heavy lifting Ensure health & safety procedures are followed at all times Working outdoors in all weather conditions Skills and Experience: Previous experience as a vehicle mechanic essential NVQ Level 2 or 3 (or equivalent) preferred Strong mechanical knowledge and fault-finding skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Physically fit and able to carry out manual work Must be able to provide recent work references to demonstrate reliability and trustworthiness How to Apply Please click apply or send your CV to.
