Qualifications & Experience

* 2 years' experience working within a Residential Children’s Home at Senior or Deputy level.
* NVQ Level 3 or above in Children and Young People or equivalent.
* High resilience and the ability to handle challenging situations.
* Passionate about supporting young people in a therapeutic way.
* Knowledge of Ofsted regulations and safeguarding procedures.
* Experience with budgets and rotas.
* A full UK driving licence.

£31,600‑£32,800 basic salary plus an additional £6,500 per year for sleep‑ins based on 8 per month. Full time, long‑day shifts with overnight sleep‑ins (24‑hour).


Role Overview

We are opening a new 2‑bed high‑intensity, therapeutic service for children and young people with complex emotional and behavioural difficulties. As a Deputy Manager you will be an integral part of our welcoming and knowledgeable leadership team, part of a region of children’s homes backed by a growing national organisation. You will be actively encouraged to be creative, bring your unique skills and have the opportunity to influence change. You will be supported to gain Level 5 qualifications, to grow and develop into future leaders and to take on additional responsibilities, which will give you the confidence to step up to manage the home when needed.
