This is a great opportunity to develop your Commercial Claims Handling knowledge and skills in a growing Insurance organisation.
You will be working closely with a range of Business Clients and be their main contact point for all of their Claims matters and issues.
Their main class of Claims will be related to their Fleets but will include others, for example when working with clients who have Dealerships.
Your main responsibilities as a Claims Handler will include:
1. Receive and action claims instructions in a timely manner and gain prompt agreement
2. Obtain claims agreement as per contract conditions or within appropriate timescales and ensure the secure, efficient and auditable handling of client monies
3. Ensure that claims are processed within agreed standard practices and procedures
4. Create and maintain claims files electronically
5. Advise, update and where necessary negotiate open market claims
6. Communicate in detail with carriers, third parties and service providers
7. Ensure that all financial aspects are handled in a timely manner
To be successful as a Claims Handler in this role you will have:
