We’re looking for
flexible Class 1 HGV Drivers to join us at our site in Sherburn in Elmet, on a permanent contract.

You’ll be supporting our British Gypsum contract on a Monday to Friday shift pattern, working day shift. The roles are direct deliveries and not multi-drop. Weekend overtime is also available, In return for your hard work, we’ll offer you a competitive hourly rate of £16.59 for days, with the opportunity to work extra shifts on top! The role is PAYE.
What you’ll do on a typical day:
1. Making deliveries to British Gypsum customers
2. You will be driving new equipment and pulling new trailers
3. Our sites are Gold Standard FORS compliant and you will be working in an environment that is highly safety driven
4. No manual handling, all loads tipped by clients
What you need to succeed at XPO:
5. We’ll need you to have a full UK driving licence (with C+E entitlement),
6. You’ll have no more than six penalty points on your licence and no DD, DR, IN, or CD endorsements.
7. A valid CPC and Digital Tacho card
8. Excellent knowledge of the UK road network
