The Role: We are looking for a dynamic forward thinking individual to lead our Finance Operations team, supporting our Head Of Finance. The successful candidate will lead, manage and motivate a team of 5 Finance Mangers who in turn manage around 75 team members. Ideally you will have gained two to three years’ experience working within a Senior Finance role ideally within a law firm or a fast paced industry environment and you will be able to demonstrate working with strong leadership and team management skills. Key Responsibilities: Oversee all aspects of legal finance operations including EBilling, Product Group Billing, Accounts Payable, Credit Control, International Credit Control, Client and Office Cash Management and Finance Service Desk. Ensure compliance with the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) Accounts Rules where applicable Manage the firm’s client money processes, ensuring segregation and reconciliation in line with regulatory standards Leadership & Team Management Lead cross functional teams to ensure seamless delivery of IT, facilities and client facing services Define and implement service delivery strategies that support the firms legal operations and client service. Act as a senior escalation point for service issues, ensuring timely resolution and communication Ensure compliance with legal industry standards, data protection regulations and internal polices Collaborate with legal teams, business services, and external clients to understand and deliver against expectations. Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders to support strategic initiatives and change management. Foster a culture of accountability, accuracy, and continuous improvement within the finance team Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong attention to detail. Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation Identify risks and deal with them appropriately Someone who demonstrates professionalism in all interactions, both internally and externally Highly organised.
