Residential Property Solicitor – 4+ PQE | Prime Central London & High-Value Work
We’re partnering with a highly regarded, long-established London law firm to appoint an experienced Residential Property Solicitor (around 4+ PQE) to join their leading private client and property team.
This is an excellent opportunity to handle high-value residential transactions for ultra-high-net-worth individuals, families, investors and private banks, with exposure to both prime central London and select regional markets.
The Firm
Our client is a boutique, partner-led practice recognised for its work with private clients, family offices and property investors. It has built long-standing relationships through clear, commercially minded advice and a deep understanding of complex ownership and finance structures. The culture is professional yet friendly, combining a strong sense of tradition with a modern, forward-looking approach.
The Role
Working closely with partners and senior lawyers, you’ll advise on a broad range of premium-value residential matters, including:
* Acquisitions, disposals and financing of prime and super-prime property;
* Acting for both private and institutional lenders, including Islamic/Shariah finance transactions;
* Structuring and advising on lettings, licences, deeds of variation and related documentation.
Transaction values typically range between £3 million and £20 million+, offering consistent exposure to sophisticated, multi-party work. You’ll manage your own matters while collaborating on more complex deals.
Responsibilities
* Running a personal caseload of high-value sales, purchases and refinances (freehold & leasehold);
* Liaising with clients, lenders, agents and counterpart solicitors;
* Drafting contracts, reports on title and finance documentation;
* Managing completions, SDLT filings and post-completion formalities;
* Maintaining excellent organisation and compliance standards.
About You
You’ll be a technically confident and commercially aware solicitor, ideally with:
* Around 4+ years’ PQE in high-end residential property;
* Experience of prime central London transactions within another respected firm;
* Strong drafting, negotiation and communication skills;
* The ability to manage multiple time-sensitive matters efficiently;
* A proactive, client-centred mindset and excellent attention to detail;
* Experience with Islamic finance matters (helpful but not essential).
This is a superb opportunity to join a reputable London practice offering high-calibre work, close partner access, and a collaborative environment where quality and client relationships take precedence over volume.
