Salary: £24,843 to £27,369 (Scale Points 25-28) pro-rated for 25 hours per week.
Location: This post is based at Children North East Cowgate (Community Hub), Cowgate Centre, Houghton Avenue, Newcastle upon Tyne, NE5 3UT.
Contract Type: This role is fixed term for 1 Year.
Within our Communities Team in Children North East we have a new and exciting opportunity for a part time Youth Project Worker to support the delivery of the CAN Mentoring programme and provide 1-1 mentoring support for young people who have multiple or complex needs. The successful candidate will be instrumental in providing young people support through 1-1 sessions that will help them to meet their personal goals.
The successful candidate will support with the delivery of 1-1 work in Gateshead and Newcastle. Mentoring sessions are typically delivered between 3 – 7pm, and the ability and willingness to travel to different locations and work in the evenings is essential for this role.
