The Best Connection is seeking an experienced Class 1 Driver to work with a respected client based in Newport. This role offers regular, ongoing work with consistent start times. You'll be part of a reliable transport operation, carrying out trunking runs to a Birmingham depot. Key responsibilities: Operating a Class 1 (Category CE) vehicle Completing trunking runs between Newport and a Birmingham depot Ensuring loads are secure and transported safely Conducting pre-use vehicle checks and reporting any issues Completing relevant paperwork accurately Following all driver hours and road safety regulations Maintaining a professional approach at all times What we're looking for: Valid Class 1 (Category CE) licence Up-to-date CPC and Digi Tacho card Previous trunking experience preferred Good knowledge of driver regulations Reliable and professional attitude Good communication skills What you'll get: Weekly pay Accrued holiday entitlement Pension scheme Ongoing, consistent work 24/7 support from The Best Connection team £15.00 per hour 06:30 starts The Best Connection is acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy.
