Permanent Plumber - Facilities Management.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Plumber to join a dedicated Facilities Management team within a site in the Yorkshire area.
Hours of work: 39 hours per week, worked on a rota basis between 08:00 - 17:00 (Monday to Thursday) and 08:00 - 16:00 (Friday to Sunday). You will be required to work 1 in 3 weekends, with an additional 15% allowance on top of your basic salary for weekend duties.
About the role:
You'll be part of a facilities team helping deliver safe, clean, and efficient environments across secure premises. This position plays a vital role in maintaining essential systems that support daily operations and safety.
Key responsibilities:
1.
Carry out routine and reactive maintenance tasks.
2.
Perform mains water supply repairs.
3.
Diagnose faults, identify life-expired equipment, and carry out repairs.
4.
Conduct inspections, water sampling, and basic risk assessments.
Skills and experience required:
5.
Full UK driving licence.
6.
Experience in a commercial or facilities environment (desirable).
7.
Ability to operate light plant and equipment.
8.
NVQ Level 3 in Plumbing and Heating preferred (Level 2 may be considered).
9.
Knowledge of Legionella control (L8) is desirable.
