The Role We are looking for a Data & Configuration Administrator to support our engineering and project teams by managing and maintaining accurate, controlled, and traceable data across the business. This role is well suited to someone who is analytical, detail-focused, and interested in working within an engineering or manufacturing environment. You will play a key role in ensuring data integrity, supporting configuration management, and enabling effective decision-making across projects. Key Responsibilities Register, control, release, and archive technical and non-technical data Verify data accuracy, integrity, traceability, and history Check data completeness and ensure up-to-date information is available to relevant teams Record configuration baselines and report gaps or omissions Support project and product teams with data and configuration activities Coordinate change control meetings and produce minutes when required Monitor and track changes through systems, proactively supporting teams Assist with transferring legacy data into current tools Work with business systems such as Windchill and IFS (training provided) Promote adherence to processes and support the wider team in doing so About You Analytical, methodical, and proactive Comfortable working with databases and structured systems A strong communicator and team player Patient, organised, and willing to support and guide others Able to work independently and collaboratively Interested in engineering, manufacturing, or technical environments Keen to learn and develop, with potential progression into a Configuration Engineer role Qualifications & Experience Engineering, manufacturing, or business-related background HNC, BTEC, or similar qualifications considered High School Diploma (or equivalent) with relevant experience Benefits Flexible working hours and hybrid options (role dependent) Optional 9-day fortnight (site dependent) Time Off in Lieu (TOIL) Annual bonus 25 days annual leave plus Christmas shutdown Option to buy or sell holiday Pension: 5% employer / 4% employee Casual dress code Relocation support (case-by-case, subject to HMRC guidelines) Security & Eligibility Due to the nature of our work, candidates must be eligible to obtain and maintain the appropriate security clearance.
