EMBS Engineering Ltd is working in partnership with a leading precision engineering manufacturer, located in Nottingham that is currently in the market for a CNC Turner to join the company on a Permanent basis.
This market‑leading company is a long‑established and highly respected name within the precision engineering sector, specialising in the manufacture of high‑quality components for the Aerospace, Energy/Oil & Gas, and Industrial industries.
Key Benefits

* Hourly Rate: Circa £15 - £18 per hour
* Hours: Double days – 6‑2 Mon to Thu, 6‑1 Fri / 2‑10 Mon to Thu, 1‑8 Fri (37.5 hour week)
* Shift allowance on Afternoons – 10% uplift

Your responsibilities
* Setting, operating, and editing CNC Turning machines using Fanuc and Mazatrol controls
* Machining small to medium‑sized, complex components using materials such as plastic
* Working from engineering drawings
* Working on multiple setups per day to produce components for various precision engineering sectors
Requirements
* Minimum 3 years of experience as a CNC Turner
* Confident working with Fanuc or Mazatrol controls
* Experience setting, operating, and editing multi‑axis CNC machines
* Previous machining of complex parts for precision industries including Aerospace, Motorsport, Nuclear, MOD, Oil & Gas, etc.
* Previous experience machining plastics desirable, or previously machined metals
* Experience with machining to tight tolerances
