What we are looking for
As a Mechanical or Electrical Programme Planner at Hopkins, you will interpret main contractor programmes, apply logical synergy to our programme of works, and ensure project delivery is efficient and on schedule. Your skills in drafting labour histograms and identifying optimal resourcing will be key.
This role suits someone with similar experience or someone looking to shift their career focus within project lifecycle areas.
Key Responsibilities
* Interpret and analyse main contractor work schedules to align with M&E project timelines.
* Apply logical synergy to the overall programme to ensure seamless M&E integration.
* Draft and maintain labour histograms to forecast workforce needs.
* Plan for optimal resourcing and labour requirements to meet deadlines.
* Collaborate with project managers, site teams, and stakeholders for efficient delivery.
* Utilise software such as Asta Power Project and Microsoft Project for schedule management.
* Provide insights to improve planning and execution.
Skills & Experience
* Understanding of the construction industry; experience in M&E preferred but not essential.
* Experience with industry software like Asta Power Project and MS Project.
* Site-based experience is beneficial; candidates transitioning from site work are encouraged.
* Strong analytical skills and logical thinking.
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
* Good knowledge of NEC 3 or 4 contracts and CE processes.
