This is a fantastic opportunity to join a prestigious company in a senior position. The company are involved with the Design and Manufacture of a range of Test and Inspection Equipment, for customers from various sectors.
The Role:
Running projects - The company specialise in designing bespoke testing systems for clients in sectors such as Defence and Transport.
Ensuring the project is completed on time, within budget.
Dealing directly with the customers, to overcome any issues.
Meet customers on site where required (London, Midlands, Scottish Borders) - 1 day spent out of office every fortnight, on average. For Critical Design Reviews and Site Acceptance Tests.
Short turn around projects - 12-24 weeks.
Managing multiple projects at a time. Once fully fledged this will be 4 or 5.
Work efficiently with the rest of the PM team, 5 other project managers.
Scheduling workload and resources, as required.
The Candidate:
BSc in Electrical or Electronics Engineering
Prince2 - Big advantage
Senior Electrical OR Electronics Design Engineer - who wants to move into PM. Or someone already doing this, needs to be an engineer though!
