Who you are
We are seeking Test Leads and Senior System Testers with current SC + NPPV3 clearance lead testing strategy and execution across large, multi team programmes, ensuring quality is embedded across the full software delivery lifecycle.
What you’ll be doing
* Define and lead programme-level test strategy and governance
* Oversee system, integration, regression, and performance testing
* Drive automation using JUnit, Cucumber, Selenium, and JMeter
* Implement service virtualisation (WireMock) and robust data validation (PostgreSQL)
* Embed testing into CI/CD pipelines and modern engineering practices
* Manage risks, reporting, and cross-team coordination
* Coach and mentor high-performing test and automation teams
* Champion continuous improvement across tooling, quality standards, and delivery practices
Core Skills & Experience
* Proven experience leading testing in complex, multi-system environments
* Strong hands-on automation background
* Deep understanding of microservices and distributed architectures
* Experience with CI/CD tooling and modern DevOps practices
* Excellent stakeholder management and client-facing communication skills
Nice to Have
* Government or consultancy delivery experience
* Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
* Contract testing and API/service-level validation
* Observability tooling (Grafana, Prometheus, ELK)
* BDD/TDD and quality-driven engineering practices
