Reports To: Production Manager
Responsibilities
* Solder, wire, and form components to military standards (J-STD).
* Follow written work instructions accurately.
* Maintain a keen eye for detail and high concentration levels.
* Distinguish colours correctly.
* Possess good manual dexterity, literacy, and numeracy skills.
* Apply knowledge of magnetics wiring and wiring diagrams/schematics.
* Use workshop tools effectively.
* Perform precision soldering of electronic components on PCBs per military standards.
* Inspect and rework soldered joints for quality assurance.
* Follow detailed work instructions and diagrams.
* Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
* Document and report defects or issues.
* Collaborate with quality control to improve processes.
Qualifications and Experience
* IPC-A-610 qualification or equivalent.
* Good time management and a positive, methodical work approach.
* Experience with soldering equipment and electronic component recognition.
* Self-motivated.

Compensation and Benefits
* Hours: 38 per week, Monday to Thursday 8:30 am - 5:30 pm, Friday 8:30 am - 12:30 pm.
* Pension: Group Stakeholder Pension Scheme (Company contribution 5%, employee minimum 4%).
* Holiday: 23 days (194 hours).
