This SEN TA position in Bexley will begin January 2026, with a comprehensive induction and handover prior to January 2026. The SEN TA will work closely with pupils on a one-to-one and small-group basis, supporting academic learning, emotional wellbeing and positive behaviour.
Responsibilities
* Provide consistent, structured support to pupils with SEND.
* Implement support strategies and personalised learning approaches.
* Assist with communication, social interaction and emotional regulation.
* Support pupils during transitions and unstructured times.
* Work closely with teaching staff and SEN leadership in Bexley.
Person specification
* Experience supporting SEND pupils in a school or similar setting.
* Patient, nurturing and resilient approach to learning support.
* Strong teamwork and communication skills.
* Ready to commence January 2026 following induction before January 2026.
