Job Title: Vehicle Technician Location: Barnstaple, Devon Salary: Up to £40000 Bonus Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent Working Hours: Monday to Friday, Days About the Role: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Vehicle Technician to join our team in Barnstaple. This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated professional looking for a Monday to Friday, daytime role with a competitive salary and performance-based bonus. You will be working in a modern, well-equipped workshop, carrying out maintenance, servicing, and repairs on a variety of vehicles. Key Responsibilities: Perform routine servicing, diagnostics, and repairs on a wide range of vehicles. Conduct fault finding and troubleshooting using the latest diagnostic tools. Complete MOT preparation and inspections (if qualified). Carry out maintenance work in line with manufacturer standards and company procedures. Ensure all work is completed efficiently, safely, and to a high standard. Maintain accurate records of work completed and parts used. Work collaboratively with the team to meet workshop targets.What We’re Looking For: Qualified Level 2 or Level 3 Vehicle Technician (NVQ, IMI, or equivalent). Experience working within a dealership, fleet, or independent garage environment. Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills. A full UK driving licence. MOT Tester qualification (desirable but not essential). A proactive and team-oriented approach with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.What’s in it for You?
