We are looking for persons with a personality about them that can work within a fast paced environment and have a laugh at the same time.
The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring our cafe runs smoothly, providing exceptional service to our customers, locals & Visitors. This position is perfect for individuals passionate about hospitality and eager to contribute to a welcoming fast paced environment. We are a family run business with an Ice Cream business on the side, so someone is always available by phone with a helping hand when needed. We are all really friendly and welcome any questions at any time
Responsibilities
- Make hot drinks on an espresso machine
- Prepare hot & cold food items
- Making sure tables & surfaces are kept clean ready for the next customers.
- Providing a list to owners of what items are left at the end of each day
- Be able to be left on your own during quiet periods of the months
- Open & close the premises
- Organise and direct other team members when needed
Hours will vary as we are seasonal. We are open February - March 6 days a week around 10-4 and April - October 7 days a week 9-6, sometimes can vary till 7 if the weather is nice.
Qualifications
* Previous experience in a cafe, restaurant, or hospitality setting is preferred but not essential.
* Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations is an advantage.
* Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers and team members.
* A proactive attitude towards helping others and working collaboratively within a team environment.
* Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays as required.
