Join our WPS team as a Finance Business Partner (FBP) and help shape the financial future of our social housing division. ?? About the Role Reporting to the Head of Financial Planning & Analysis, you’ll act as a trusted advisor to the Divisional Managing Director and senior leadership team. You’ll provide financial insight, challenge assumptions, and support decision-making to drive performance and value across our social housing operations. This is a hands-on, high-impact role where you’ll lead on budgeting, forecasting, financial governance, and support for bids and commercial reviews. ??? Key Responsibilities Prepare and analyse monthly and quarterly management accounts. Lead divisional budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning. Support bid teams with financial modelling and risk analysis. Oversee project-level financial performance and reporting. Drive improvements in financial controls, systems, and processes. Partner with operational and commercial teams to deliver strategic goals. Support year-end audit and statutory reporting. ?? What We’re Looking For Knowledge & Experience: Strong background in financial and management accounting. Experience in social housing or public sector finance is highly desirable. Deep understanding of IFRS, project accounting, and financial governance. Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Excel modelling. Qualifications: ACA/FCA, ACCA/FCCA, or ACMA/FCMA qualified. Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. 5 years in a senior finance role, ideally as an FBP or Financial Controller. Skills & Behaviours: Commercially astute with excellent analytical and communication skills. Proactive, hands-on, and solutions-focused.
