Paediatric Clinical Lead – Community Complex Care
Location: Cambridgeshire
Working pattern: Hybrid with 2 days from home and 3 days in the community
Salary: Up to £55,000
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm
We are recruiting a Paediatric Clinical Lead to join a well-established, nurse-led provider delivering high-quality community-based care to children with complex health needs. Due to continued growth across Cambridgeshire, this is a stable, long-term leadership opportunity.
About the Role As a Paediatric Clinical Lead, you will provide hands-on clinical leadership across community packages, supporting children, families, and care teams to deliver safe, person-centred care. This role suits an experienced nurse who enjoys autonomy, leadership, and building strong relationships in the community.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical oversight of paediatric community complex care packages
Completion of assessments, care plans, and ongoing reviews
Training, competency sign-off, and clinical supervision of staff
Liaison with families, MDTs, and commissioners
Maintaining high clinical standards across all packages
Essential Requirements
Registered Nurse (RN Child, RSCN or Adult Nurse with strong paediatric complex care experience) with an active NMC PIN
Minimum of 3 years’ UK experience in paediatric or community-based complex care
Leadership or supervisory experience
Recent experience with tracheostomy care and ventilation within the last 2 years
Strong communication and organisational skills
Full UK driving licence
