We are looking for a skilled CNC Machinist to join our client, a multi-national supplier of engineering solutions to the energy industry. Reporting to the Machine Shop Supervisor, you will be responsible for machining components to the highest standards, ensuring customer requirements and quality are consistently met.
The Role
Component Manufacturing: Produce components to the correct standards within estimated production times, from engineering drawings, adhering to company quality procedures. Machine various high-grade materials, such as Inconel 718.
Housekeeping: Maintain housekeeping standards to ensure a safe and clean working environment.
Drawing Interpretation: Interpret engineering drawings to customer specifications, ensuring components meet correct standards within estimated production times.
The role a Two-Week Rotation of Days / Nights Shift, working the following hours:
Day Shifts - Monday to Thursday - 7.30am to 4.30pm & Fridays 7.30am to 12.30pm
Night Shifts - Monday 10pm to 7.30am & Tuesday to Thursday 9pm to 7.30am
You Experience: Minimum 3 years post-apprenticeship CNC machining experience with medium to heavy components; must be competent in setting and programming (preferably Mazatrol Milling Machining Centres).
Machine Operation: Experience operating CNC Horizontal, Vertical Borers, Machining Centres, or Mills.
Tooling Knowledge: Working knowledge of relevant tooling applications and machine tool capabilities, including tool feeds and speeds to achieve efficient cycle times.
