The Role
This is a permanent job role. Contracted to 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Paid hourly, with overtime paid. You will be paid travel time door-to-door, on top of contracted and overtime hours. A company van is provided with a fuel card.
Responsibilities
* Accept delivery of packaged plant at site from our Manufacturing facility, and be responsible for site installation.
* Act as a working supervisor, actively involved in installation operations and supervising a multi-discipline site installation team to install packaged plant manufactured by Bridges, including Chemical Dosing & Water booster station packages.
* Ensure Health & Safety legislation and CDM15 regulations are adhered to by the site teams.
* Lead and promote Bridges values in dealings with peers, staff, customers and clients.
* Co-ordinate and contribute to the site installation operations of Chemical Dosing package plants, promoting compliance, innovation and continuous improvement while meeting contracted output requirements.
* Ensure site teams comply with Bridges Mechanical & Electrical Safety rules & Essential Safety Standards.
* Ensure items are installed to the highest standards in line with the project quality plan and inspection & test plans.
* Carry out pressure testing on installed pipework systems, sign off, and keep records in line with Bridges Mechanical Safety Standards.
Requirements
* Experience as a Mechanical Fitter
* Experience within water / heavy industrial industries
* Appropriate City & Guilds trade qualification
* CCNSG
* Fit to work medical (can be completed upon starting employment)
