Keltbray IDEC is recruiting for a Project Manager to work on our Substation projects in the South of Scotland.
As a Project Manager, you will be part of our Substation Build Team, refurbishing and constructing new switch houses and transformer enclosures with associated switchgear, transformers, and cabling. In this fast-paced role, you’ll coordinate and supervise construction activities from start to finish, acting as the principal contact for the client.
The duties of the Project Manager will include:
1. Preparation and monitoring of all site-specific health and safety documentation.
2. Ensuring all projects comply with CDM Regulations 2015.
3. Managing staffing and material orders, ensuring relevant training is completed and up-to-date.
4. Managing project schedules and budgets.
5. Liaising with clients, contractors, and management.
6. Managing contract scope changes and variations.
7. Preparing tendering information and project pricing documentation.
8. Collecting and reporting on project KPIs.
Skills & Knowledge Requirements:
* SSSTS certification.
* Experience working with FIDIC Contracts.
* Experience managing projects within distribution level substations (up to 66kV).
* Knowledge of client rules and regulations.
* Client authorisations (SPEN Competent Person and APSA).
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Project.
* Ability to manage project financial records.
* Capability to oversee multiple projects of varying sizes simultaneously.
* Full driving license.
