Responsibilities
* Oversee and manage the commercial finance function, ensuring accurate reporting and analysis.
* Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement financial strategies.
* Analyse financial data to identify trends and provide actionable insights.
* Prepare detailed budgets, forecasts, and performance reports.
* Implement various forecasting models.
* Support decision-making by evaluating financial risks and opportunities.
* Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
* Drive continuous improvement in financial processes and systems.
* Provide mentorship and guidance to junior finance team members.
* Manage the transactional teams.
Qualifications
* A professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, or CIMA).
* Proven experience in a commercial finance role within the business services industry.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
* Proficiency in financial systems and tools, with advanced Excel skills.
* A proactive approach and ability to work independently.
