Location: Oakham Shires School, Rutland, LE15 6JB
Salary: Up to £39,000 per annum (depending on experience — not pro rata)
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 4:30pm
Contract: Permanent, Term Time Only
Eligibility: This role does not offer sponsorship

This role is part of Outcomes First Group; you will be delivering Maths GCSE and supporting autistic pupils with a tailored, compassionate approach within a multidisciplinary team.
What you’ll be doing
* Teach Maths up to GCSE level in small class groups (max. 6 pupils)
* Support learners with autism and developmental trauma, helping close gaps in learning
* Lead the Maths curriculum and support cross-school development
* Adapt lessons to meet a wide range of abilities and individual needs
* Create a calm, supportive, and engaging classroom environment
* Work with a team of educators and therapists to help every child thrive
What we’re looking for
* QTS / BEd / PGCE or equivalent
* Proven experience teaching Maths at GCSE level
* Experience supporting SEN and/or disadvantaged learners
* Compassionate, calm, emotionally intelligent approach
* Understanding of autism, trauma-informed practices, and behaviour as communication
* Strong communication skills and ability to work in a multidisciplinary team
* This role is not suitable for Early Career Teachers (ECTs)

We reserve the right to close the vacancy early if we receive a high volume of suitable applications. You’ll work 80% of your contractual hours for 100% of your pay, giving you more time for your commitments. 4DWW is subject to successful probation and is not a contractual benefit.
