Warehouse Logistics Operative
Minsterley
Full time, permanent role working 4 on 4 off (days and nights 6PM-6AM)
£31,079 per annum
We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Logistics Operative at our Minsterley site.
Logistics Warehouse Operative key responsibilities will include:
1. Supporting to deliver all aspects of the P&I store and/or the Cold Store
2. Deliver timely receipt of finished goods/raw materials
3. Order picking/despatch
4. Carrying out all transactions related to stock movement
5. Maintaining a high level of accuracy of inventory in the stores
6. Operate manual handling equipment and waste compactors/balers ensuring routine basic maintenance is carried out
7. Operate and train on the relevant machinery i.e. FLT, PPT, and POPT
8. Ensure compliance with company standards, rules and procedures
9. Challenging process and giving ideas to improve productivity and efficiencies, and reduce waste
10. Comply with food safety requirements, effectively control CCP’s and adhere to site quality
11. procedures
12. Unload and deliver site cleaning and chemical products to the relevant department in a timely manner
13. Carry out GMP monthly audits of the logistics recycle areas with the site quality team, close out any actions raised
14. Hitting time scales at right safety, service, quality and cost
15. Operate complex IT systems
16. Carry out any other duties that are within the employee’s skills and abilities whenever reasonably instructed
Key skills & experience required to be successful as a Logistics Operative:
17. FLT and High Reach or equivalent
18. SAP/WMS or similar
19. Experience in stock control
20. Numerical competence
