Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst with proven experience in loan products and loan booking systems. The ideal candidate will be adept at data mapping, collaborating with IT teams to deliver robust business requirements, and managing a diverse range of stakeholders. Exceptional communication skills are essential, as the role involves preparing and presenting decks and papers to senior leadership, including the HALCO (Group ALCo) and GLMM (Group Liquidity Management Meeting).
Key Responsibilities:
* Analyse, document, and map data flows between loan products and booking systems, ensuring accuracy and compliance with business needs.
* Collaborate closely with IT teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications, supporting the end-to-end delivery of system enhancements and new data fields.
* Engage with stakeholders across business, operations, risk, and compliance to gather requirements, manage expectations, and ensure alignment on project objectives.
* Prepare high-quality presentations, reports, and papers for senior management and Board-level audiences, articulating complex concepts in a clear and concise manner.
* Lead workshops and meetings to facilitate requirement gathering, solution design, and project updates.
* Support testing and implementation phases, ensuring solutions meet business objectives and regulatory standards.
* Proactively identify process improvement opportunities and contribute to strategic initiatives within the lending domain.
* Work with the business on front book flow changes that impact Treasury.
* Demonstrate a strong understanding of front-to-back process engineering, ensuring seamless integration and optimisation across all stages of the loan lifecycle.
Key Requirements:
* Demonstrable experience as a Business Analyst within loan products and loan booking systems.
* Strong data mapping and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret and document complex data flows.
* Proven track record of working with IT teams to deliver business requirements and technology solutions.
* Excellent stakeholder management and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels.
* Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, including experience preparing Senior management-level presentations and papers (preferred).
* Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
* Knowledge of regulatory requirements and risk considerations within lending is advantageous.
* Solid understanding of legal clauses relevant to loan products, with experience supporting projects such as LIBOR transition or similar regulatory-driven initiatives.
