We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Behaviour Support Assistant to join a supportive and inclusive primary school based in Congleton. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children who require extra additional social, emotional and academic support.
About the role:
* Start- date: 1st September
* Ongoing/long-term with opportunity for permanent contract with the school
* Opportunity to earn £90-£100 per day (dependent on experience)
As a Behavioural Support Assistant, you will support pupils with behavioural, emotional and social needs, both inside and outside of the classroom. You will work closely with Class Teachers, SENCO, and external professionals to implement personalised support strategies and promote positive behaviour within the classroom. This may include 1-1 or small group intervention and supervision during break and lunchtimes.
We are looking for someone who:
* Has experience working with children, particularly those with additional behavioural needs (school-based experience desirable).
* Demonstrates a patient, understanding and consistent approach.
* Has excellent communication and teamwork skills.
* Is flexible, proactive, and able to adapt to a variety of situations.
* Holds relevant qualifications or training in behaviour support, SEND, or child development (desirable but not essential).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
