We have a fantastic opportunity for a highly motivated Managing Quantity Surveyor to join our North East team in Houghton Le Spring.
Reporting to the Commercial Director, you willbe responsible forthe day-to-day administration of the Quantity Surveying department, ensuring that the company’s contractual andfinancial interestsare best served. You willbe requiredto prepare financial reports and have knowledge and understanding of claims and dispute resolution.
You will oversee the project reporting process,ensuringtimelyandaccuratecomposition of trading results, and contributing to the presentation of Management accounts and forecasts by the region.
We’dlike our Managing Quantity Surveyor to have previous experience in a similar role and have a proven track record and experience in contracting. You will need be able to manage the surveying department and be comfortable with recruiting, training, and developing all levels of the commercial team.
