Locum Anaesthetic Practitioner - Neurology | QEUH, Glasgow. Are you an experienced Anaesthetic Practitioner (Operating Department Practitioner - Anaesthetics) with experience in neurology looking for your next locum opportunity? We have an exciting role available at the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital (QEUH) in Glasgow.
This role is with Medacs Healthcare - Middle East and involves working in a busy theatre environment, contributing to high-quality patient care across elective, emergency, and trauma procedures.
Pay, Shifts and Location
* Pay: £270 - £360 per day
* Shifts: Monday to Friday, 08:00-18:00
* Location: QEUH - Glasgow
* Weekly Pay: Fast, reliable weekly payments
Key Responsibilities
* Safely identify, prepare, check, and assemble anaesthetic equipment
* Prepare and organise the clinical area to receive patients for elective, emergency, and trauma procedures
* Actively support patients and their families, communicating clinical information effectively
* Demonstrate and develop clinical assessment skills, prioritising care for patients undergoing surgical/anaesthetic procedures
* Contribute to the ongoing development of patient care within the operating theatres by sharing knowledge and expertise
Essential Qualifications
* Current NMC/HCPC registration
* Minimum 1 year post-graduate experience
* At least 6 months recent UK experience within the last 3 years
