Project Manager – Façades (Industry Leader)
(After Sales / Refurbishment Division)
Location: London
Salary: £70,000 – £80,000 + package (including travel)
We are working with a leading specialist façade contractor, globally recognised as a market leader in building envelopes, delivering some of the world’s most complex and iconic skyscrapers. The business specialises in the design, supply and installation of curtain walling, cladding and unitised façade systems, working collaboratively with Tier 1 main contractors on major projects.
Due to continued growth, the company is expanding its After Sales / Legacy Projects division and is now looking to appoint an experienced Project Manager to oversee a portfolio of refurbishment and remedial works across London.
The Role
The Project Manager will take full ownership of projects from initial enquiry through to completion, managing all aspects of delivery. This is a client-facing role requiring strong technical, commercial and organisational skills.
Key responsibilities include:
* Managing the full project lifecycle from enquiry and tender stage through design, construction and handover
* Overseeing tendering, design coordination and procurement
* Setting up and managing site teams and subcontractors
* Programming works and managing delivery against agreed timescales
* Overseeing on-site delivery of façade refurbishment and remedial works
* Acting as the main point of contact for clients and stakeholders
* Maintaining strong commercial awareness, including cost control and variations
* Ensuring works are delivered safely, to quality standards, and in line with programme
About You
* Proven Project Manager experience within façades
* Strong background in curtain walling, cladding and façade systems
* Experience delivering refurbishment / aftercare / legacy projects
* Confident client-facing professional
* Strong programme management and planning skills
* Commercially aware with a proactive approach to problem-solving
* Able to work collaboratively with internal teams and Tier 1 main contractors
