Contributing to residents care plans, with a demonstrable understanding of holistic care. Building effective relationships with relatives and next of kin in order to fully support the delivery of high-quality care to residents. .Take a lead in assisting Clinical Staff in care planning and maintaining continuity of care. .Demonstrate a clear understanding of SOVA. .Provide day to day management and supervision of Care Assistants in order to ensure quality of care, planning and organising key aspects of a shift. .Act as a link between Nurses and Carers to support the efficient running of the Home. Skills required: Have previous experience working in a nursing home environment and an understanding of dementia and a NVQ level 2 in Health and Social Care, but above all, a positive and can-do attitude is essential.
