This is a Fixed term post for 21 months An exciting opportunity has arisen for a senior leadership role of Head of Strategy, Programmes and Innovation within the Digital Services Directorate. This is a Board-wide role, reporting to the Director of Digital Services and working as a member of the eHealth Senior Management Team. This is an excellent opportunity to lead and deliver the Board’s Digital Strategy including the day to day running of a large number of highly complex programmes and projects including significant service reconfiguration and System development. The Department has circa 50 staff working across various projects and programmes of work. The post involves working across all clinical specialties as well as with other NHS Scotland Boards and other key internal and external stakeholders. Applicants must be able to demonstrate significant experience of operating at a senior strategic level, including skills in staff management & development, financial management plus experience of developing and implementing strategic change. Excellent leadership, interpersonal and communication skills are essential. NHSGGC has an ambitious 2023-2028 Digital Strategy () and this role and the Strategy, Programmes and Innovation teams are pivotal to supporting the delivery of transformational change. Services are continually evolving as technology develops and new pathways emerge therefore the post holder will need to be agile and dynamic in managing change while maintaining a patient centred focus.
