Job Overview
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Clerical Officer / Administrator to join our dynamic administrative team. This role plays a key part in supporting our clinical services in a fast‑paced, compassionate palliative care environment. The role is based at Aintree Hospital and provides full comprehensive administrative support to the inpatient and outpatient clinical services at Woodlands Hospice.
This post is open to employees of the five LAASP organisations: The Clatterbridge Centre, Liverpool Heart and Chest Hospital, Liverpool University Hospitals, Liverpool Women's Hospital or the Walton Centre.
Main duties of the job
Provide quality comprehensive administrative support to clinical services based at Aintree Hospital, Woodlands.
Co‑coordinate outpatient clinics including booking, confirmation and scheduling of appointments.
Provide administrative support to the Woodlands Inpatient Unit including support for admissions and discharges.
Co‑coordinate incoming calls to Liverpool IMPaCT services, ensuring patients access the appropriate clinical teams quickly and effectively.

Qualifications
* NVQ 3 or equivalent in relevant area
Experience (desirable)
* Previous NHS Experience

* Knowledge of the NHS – iPM, ICE, Choose & Book systems

Trust policy requires that the cost of submitting & processing the successful applicant/s DBS application be recovered via salary deduction following start in post. The amount of £26.50 (standard disclosure) or £54.50 (enhanced disclosure) will be deducted from salary, in manageable monthly instalments for up to 3 months following commencement of employment.
