Location: The Atrium, Pitsea, Basildon
Hours: 24 hours/week
Working pattern: Mon, Tue, Wed, Fri (8:30am - 3:00pm, 30 min break)
39 weeks/year (includes 5 INSET days). Paid for 44.65 weeks/year.
Start date: To be negotiated
Band: 2
Salary: £24,733 to £25,415 full-time equivalent (pro-rata), negotiable based on skills and experience.
Actual salary range: £13,738.42 to £14,117.25 per annum depending on skills and experience

About the role
We are seeking an energetic, patient, and empathetic Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join our team at The Atrium. You will work closely with pupils alongside experienced staff, making a meaningful difference daily.
What we do
The Atrium is an SEMH Enhanced Provision dedicated to transforming young lives through a trauma-informed, therapeutic approach, collaborating with families and external agencies to support reintegration into mainstream or SEMH schools.
Responsibilities
* Planning engaging activities with colleagues
* Providing one-on-one academic support
* Leading small group sessions
* Supporting learning through playful and therapeutic activities
