Due to continued growth and new projects, they are now looking to hire a talented Accounts Assistant to join the finance department.
Role
The Accounts Assistant for this exciting Architecture firm based in the city of London, will work closely with the Senior Accountant and support on a number of accounting & project-based duties within the team. They will take on a various key responsibilities including:
* Maintaining accurate bookkeeping and accountancy records, including sales and purchase ledgers.
* Preparing and issuing monthly invoices.
* Processing the monthly bank reconciliations and balance sheet reconciliations.
* Supporting the production of forecasts and budgets as well as cash flow reports.
* Assisting with the preparation of monthly management accounts/reports.
* Monitoring debtor and creditor lists, ensuring timely payments and follow-ups.
* Organising the payment runs regularly, and setting up payments for approval.
* Dealing with customer queries.
* Supporting wider business and taking on ad-hoc projects.
Profile
The ideal profile for this Accounts Assistant position, should have the following attributes:
* Graduate or AAT background.
* 1-3 years of experience within a similar Accounts Assistant / Finance Assistant capacity.
* Experience in dealing with Accounts Payable & Receivable processes.
* Experience with Sage 50 / Xero would be advantageous.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Previous experience working within the design, construction or creative environment is advantageous.

The salary range/rates of pay is dependent upon your experience, qualifications or training.
