Technical Sales Advisor
Our rural Leominster client is seeking a full time, permanent Technical Sales Advisor to join their friendly and knowledgeable team on full time permanent basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for recommending and selling appropriate components and systems to customers, providing a troubleshooting service should problems arise, processing all associated administration.
What you can expect:
•Salary: up to £38,000, depending on experience
•Monday to Friday, 9am – 5pm or 08.30am – 4.30pm with a 30minute lunch break
•21 days annual leave plus bank holidays (increasing after 2 years’ service by 1 additional day per year, up to a maximum of 5 additional days)
•NEST pension scheme
•Discretionary bonus based on company performance
What you will be doing:
•Maintain contact with new and existing customers via email, telephone, and visits
•Recommend and sell appropriate components and systems to meet customer needs
•Interpret drawings and sketches, sizing and specifying systems and equipment
•Troubleshoot component and system problems to offer solutions
•Process sales orders, maintains accurate records of customer interactions and sales activities within the internal CRM system
•Deal with customer enquiries and liaise closely with the team to reach a positive resolution
•Generate new sales opportunities
•Keep up to date with industry developments and new products
•Attend trade shows and events to represent the company and promote products
What we are looking for:
•Working knowledge and understanding of electrical systems or the renewable energy industry
•Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
•Highly collaborative and able to work independently or as part of a team
•Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM software
•Willingness to travel on occasion to meet with clients and attend trade show
